ABOUT THE AUTHOR
LJ Andrews has been reading since she was five, and writing since she was six. She loves reading and writing anything fantasy to escape the day to day we call reality. However, historical fiction allows her dream of owning a Scottish castle satisfied, and her bank account in the black.After earning a formal degree in Occupational Therapy she worked lovingly with the geriatric community for five years. Often during the treatment sessions she was fascinated with the marvelous journeys and adventures her elderly friends had experienced, and something great happened. The writing bug entered her brain and stories began to flow out. Since then she has earned a copy editing certificate from the American Copy Editor Society, and Poynter News University. Running a freelance editing business has given L. J. the opportunity to spend time reading other masterpieces before anyone else, while writing her own exciting stories. L.J. lives with her husband, four children, two dogs and two rats...yes rats, in a small town nestled in the mountains of Utah. She enjoys playing with Legos, Batman, and toy cheetahs, making chocolate chip cookies, and of course writing stories when all her little people are sleeping.
